What we mean by In-Kind Services

For some people it is just too difficult to send us a small sum of money. While others would simply rather do something besides send money.

We will be happy to send you a set of drawings or stories if you will promise to do one of the following in-kind services:

  1. Help us with our our huge surprising projects.
  2. Build a desk for someone in your community with a physical challenge.
  3. Use our drawing or stories for educational purposes.
  4. Tell us about available wood and hardware in your area.
  5. Proofread one of our construction notes or short stories.
  6. Help us get our Sites better known.
  7. Anything else helpful that you think up and you want to do.

We will take your word that you will make a good faith effort to accomplish your chosen task.

  1. Physical Challenges

We started Woodware Designs to addressing people's challenges with Repetitive Strain Injury but now we also address many other problems like Multiple Sclerosis and Retinitius Pigmentosas. We are always happy to provide any of our plans for these purposes free of charge and even to provide custom designs.

We like to work with teams to get the desks built with Woodware providing the design people. If you are the person facing the challenge and you want to organize a team please e-mail this little form to us today.

  2. Educational Purposes

Our plans are regularly used by students in shop and design classes. We also encourage the use of our short stories to build student's interest in science. Again, e-mail this little form to us with your needs and ideas, we will be happy to provide support.

  3. Wood and Hardware in your Area

The United States is way behind in adapting the international standards of measure, System International (SI or metric). We need to know much more about what sizes wood and hardware come in SI countries. How big is a piece of plywood? I haven't a clue. What is the closest equivalent to a #8 by 1-1/2 inch flat head wood screw? Clueless again. We would be happy to provide you with a set of plans in the present English system for your help by obtaining the information needed to make our plans more useful worldwide.

Again, e-mail this little form to us.

  4. Proofreading

We would be happy to provide you with any of our products in exchange for proofreading even a small part of our now gargantuan text.

Again, e-mail this little form to us.

  5. Getting our Sites Better Known

We would be most happy to hear your specific ideas for getting our site better known. This may be as simple and sending us the URL of another Site that we really aught to exchange links with. I might also mean providing us with leads on media people who might be interested in writing about our work or inside information how to get our Sites nominated for awards.

Again, e-mail this little form to us.

Thank you for your promise.
